What a great site! I have to admit I too would happily dine on your failures. But I can also appreciate the contrast with your amazing photos of the keepers. I am so glad I found you site (rather you found me at the DHI). I can promise we will be trying some of these recipes.

Stacey – I’m afraid that you are the one that is ignorant. I do international aid work and I have traveled the world. Horse in not an acceptable meat in many countries. China, Japan, a few rural areas in Italy & France, and some of Mexico are a areas of the globe that consume horse – but the majority of individuals frown upon horse meat consumption. Do your research the next time you open your mouth Stacey – perhaps you will not sound like such an imbecile.

What makes a horse any more special than a pig or a cow?
It has nothing to do with being more “evolved” … its just a societal perception. Don’t make an argument from ignorance.
